• Brokerage:-The Centre actively recruits people willing to volunteer and works with them to identify opportunities to meet their needs and match their skills and expectations in a wide range of voluntary opportunities The Centre recruits approximately 700 volunteers a year and places them with over 360 registered statutory, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations.

Additionally Volunteer Centre Sutton signposts over 1000 volunteers a year to local voluntary organisations by advertising opportunities on the do-It website.

• Marketing Volunteering:- in over 150 venues borough wide.

• Good practice development:- supporting volunteer managers in voluntary and not-for-profit organisations in Sutton. Volunteer Centre Sutton is a Goldstar organisation funded by the Cabinet Office to disseminate good practice.
